Support projects that are making an immediate impact on veterans and first responders

Veterans and first responders are often the first ones putting their lives at risk to ensure we have opportunities in the future. To help ensure they have opportunities that haven’t been readily available in the past, the $MIL community is ready to open new doors. Each of us can start making a real difference. Simply buy a $MIL token to have a say in making a difference in their futures.

VETERANS WITH PTSD

Veterans and first responders have often been exposed to horrible and life-threatening situations that can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

After experiencing a life-threatening event it is normal to experience upsetting memories, lose sleep or feel on-edge. Most people feel better after a few weeks, but for those that experience symptoms over a longer period of time, they may be experiencing PTSD. Symptoms can include re-living the event, feeling on edge or keyed up and avoiding anything that reminds the individual of the event.
