Military.Finance Cryptocurrency Names Decorated Marine and Purple-Heart Recipient, LCpl (Ret.) Jerrett Porter, as Chief of Staff and National Director of Veteran Affairs

(Houston, Texas) Military. Finance’s co-founders- Dev. Brad Dahl and Dev. Shawn Burst have issued a joint-statement on behalf of the entire pro-veteran, cryptocurrency community: “Military.Finance is excited to announce long-time Dev. Jerrett Porter, father and United States Marine Corps veteran, has been officially named as our new Chief of Staff and National Director of Veteran Affairs.”

First, LCpl (ret.) Jerrett Porter- a highly-decorated United States Marine Infantryman and Houston, Texas native-has spent his entire adult life in public service. Jerrett voluntarily to enlist in the United States Marine Corps at age 20 after not feeling personally and professionally filled in his incredibly successful, six-figure salary career in sales. Porter notes, “I remember my Mom coming into my bedroom on September 11, 2001 to alert me about the terrorist attacks on U.S. soil and it was exactly at that moment that my life’s mission was clear: to become a United States Marine.”

Additionally, LCpl (ret.) Jerrett Porter honorably served this great nation as an 0311 Infantryman for four years, where he attended basic training at Camp Pendleton. His first Duty Station was the notorious 29 Palms from which he was seemingly immediately deployed in 2011 to Afghanistan as part of the most-deployed unit- “39-Lima” Company”- in U.S. history. Porter maintained a “Top-Secret” high-level Security Clearance throughout his tenure as an enlisted Marine and was the recipient of the prestigious “Purple Heart” Award for saving the life of a fellow Marine during his deployment in Afghanistan. However, transitioning to civilian life was difficult for Jerrett at first, due to the side-effects of being shot twice, having three separate Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI’s) coupled with being diagnosed with PTSD.

However, in 2015, Porter highlights, “My life suddenly had meaning, I found a new purpose in life after the birth of my first child in 2015. Transitioning into my new ‘role’ as a ‘father’ gave my life a greater purpose and redefined my mission of service. Essentially, ‘fatherhood’ and eventually coupled with the new title ‘husband’ when I married my beautiful Venezuelan wife later that year gave new meaning to my life.”

Currently, Hon. Mr. Jerrett Porter resides in a sleepy suburb just outside of Houston, Texas with his Doctor-Wife of over five years and three gorgeous children. He is also the co-owner of an “Escape Room” in Katie, Texas. In May 2021, Jerrett Porter initially joined the Military.Finance Team, unofficially as a ‘Moderator’ at first, after researching cryptocurrencies with philanthropic missions of helping veterans- and stumbling upon the Military.Finance website and official Telegram chatroom. To-date, Jarrett is an official ‘Dev.’ And serves as Chief Moderator in the group’s official (new) Military.Finance Telegram Chat. Additionally, Jerrett Porter now serves as ‘Director of Veterans Affairs’ and also ‘Chief of Staff’ at Military.Finance is responsible for founding the ‘Help-A-Vet’ philanthropic program initiative.

Finally, please take note that Military.Finance is the world’s first blockchain that uses philanthropy, specifically tailored to non-profit charities serving veterans throughout the U.S., as a marketing mechanism to encourage a new ‘standard of service’ in the cryptocurrency industry-at-large.
